🎤 Reporting live from the stairwell
This just in: movement works.

Two weeks ago, after a Pilates class, Crystalline said, “My legs are burning.”
I said, “Take the stairs anyway. Every damn time.”

Fast forward and here she is — ground floor, on assignment for MYBY News — choosing the stairs on the way to work. No mat. No mirror. Just real life movement.

This is MYBY in action.

Training the body is one thing. Creating space for young men to breathe, reflect, laugh, and speak honestly — that’s the real work.

We now offer two non-infrared heated yoga classes at Move Your Body Yoga.

These classes are a beautiful way to step into our space, feel the energy of the studio, and experience our teaching style—before practicing in one of our infrared heated sessions.

Both classes are led by instructors with 20+ years of yoga teaching experience each, bringing depth, wisdom, and a grounded approach to every class.

Meet your teachers + classes:

✨ Trish
Trish leads our Flow 365 Vinyasa class. With over two decades of teaching experience, her classes are intelligent, steady, and rooted in traditional yoga. Expect mindful movement, strength-building, and thoughtful sequencing that supports both new and seasoned practitioners.

✨ Kaylin
Kaylin leads our Restore 365 class. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she brings a calming, nurturing presence to the mat. Her classes focus on restoration, breath, and nervous system regulation—creating space to slow down and reset.

Today we’re celebrating someone truly special in our Move Your Body Yoga community — Nadirah R. 💛

Nadirah has stepped onto her mat more than 300 times in our studio, and just this week alone she practiced 10+ times, flowing through Move365, Stretch, and Restorative classes — and yes, she’s a big fan of the infrared sauna, too. 🔥

But what makes Nadirah so remarkable goes far beyond the numbers. She is a powerhouse when it comes to self-care, consistency, and showing up — not just for herself, but for others. She believes in wellness. She supports community. She brings a calm, cool, grounded energy into every room she enters.

Brilliant, professional, compassionate, and genuinely kind — Nadirah is the kind of human who makes this studio what it is. We are better because she’s here.

Today we lift our arms one last time for Mardi Gras. High Crescent Lunge feels fitting — arms reaching up, just like we do at the parade when we’re calling, “Throw me something, mister.”

But today, we’re not just catching beads.

We’re catching breath.
We’re catching strength.
We’re catching release.

As the season winds down, let the arms stay lifted long enough to receive what really matters — steadiness, focus, and that inner fire that keeps you moving forward. That’s Tapas. Showing up. Staying with it. Letting good energy move through you instead of carrying what no longer serves you.

Mardi Gras ends today, but something bigger begins. Take what you need. Leave the rest behind. Keep that good energy flowing — on the mat and beyond it.
