Real progress like this is what physical therapy is all about 💪
Helping patients find relief from long-term pain, improve sleep, and get back to the activities they love is why we do what we do. From repetitive motion injuries to chronic tendinitis, the right evaluation and plan can make a real difference.
If pain has been following you home at night, it might be time for a different approach.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s talk about a different kind of love.
Not flowers. Not chocolate. Real care.
Taking care of your movement is an act of self respect. It is about listening to your body, addressing pain early, and choosing movement that supports your life.
Our latest blog dives into why PT is not punishment, why perfection is not the goal, and how movement is one of the most powerful forms of self care.
Two people. Same diagnosis. Completely different journeys. 💙
Back pain is not one size fits all. Your history, your fears, your experiences, and how long you’ve been dealing with it all matter. That’s why physical therapy should never be cookie cutter.
Loving your body means listening to it, respecting where it’s been, and giving it the care it actually needs to move forward. That’s exactly what we talk about in our Love Your Body blog and what we practice every day in the clinic.
💬 What movement have you been avoiding because of an old injury
Let’s talk about it

January check-in ✅
Did you move more? Did it feel easier?
If the answer is no - or not quite yet - that’s okay. The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
At Delta, we help people move with less pain, more confidence, and more freedom every day.
Let’s make February the month your movement starts to feel good again. 💪

No hot packs. No fluff. Just real movement that gets real results.
At Delta, it’s not about masking the pain. It’s about getting you stronger, more resilient, and more confident in what your body can do.
Barbells? Deadlifts? Kettlebells? Yep, they belong in PT, and we’ll show you how to use them safely.
Curious what PT actually looks like with us? Hit play. 🎥👇

Still feeling that half-marathon in your calves four days later?
Let’s talk about it 👇
Soreness = normal. Pain = not so much.
Soreness is your body’s way of saying, “Hey, that was new!” Pain is your body waving a red flag 🚩
If you're not sure which one you're feeling after the Louisiana Marathon, we’ve got your back (and knees, and hips… you get it).

Stiff neck? Try this quick mobility drill using a soft ball to get things moving again. 👇
This exercise is great for:
✅ Improving neck mobility
✅ Reducing tension
✅ Restoring smooth movement and control
It’s one of our go-to moves for patients who sit at a desk, look at screens all day, or just feel tight through the upper back and neck.
🎥 Follow along and give it a try.
Save this one for your next movement break and let us know how it feels.

Just ran the Louisiana Marathon? 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Your muscles might be tight, tired, or begging for a reset.
Dry needling and manual therapy are powerful tools we use to ease muscle tension, improve range of motion, and speed recovery so you can get back out there stronger and sooner. Dry needling targets tight trigger points to release tension and reduce pain while manual hands-on techniques help restore motion and support proper movement.

In the Spring of 2016, while the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association was pushing for direct access, is where Delta’s story begins.
Kristen Glascock and Stephen Levins joined many colleagues one early morning at a Baton Rouge clinic for a news broadcast to discuss efforts made to obtain direct access in the state of Louisiana for physical therapist. Little did either of them know that their efforts, combined with those of area physical therapists, legislators, physicians and friends of the physical therapy community would allow for passing of Senate Bill No. 291 which would allow direct access to physical therapists in Louisiana. This would also lead to the partnership responsible for building what Delta has become today.
Delta Physical Therapy first opened it’s doors inside of Geaux Crossfit at their location on American Way in Baton Rouge. The practice quickly grew and soon changed locations in March of 2018 to its first store-front location at 12110 South Harrells Ferry Road.
Kristen and Steve collectively formed Delta with the idea to change the way physical therapy was being delivered in the modern health care system. We felt physical therapy as a whole needed to change and that our patient’s deserved better.
Named for it’s Southern roots, based in the Mississippi Delta region, and the fourth later of the Greek alphabet, Delta which is the symbol for change. We continue to strive to be a positive change in the healthcare systems as well as the lives of our patients and our community.
