🌟 Happy Physical Therapy Month! 🌟

Today, we are celebrating another one of our phenomenal physical therapists, Stephanie Fletcher, PT. Stephanie is a proud graduate of LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (Class of 2002) where she received her degree in physical therapy. Stephanie is a valued employee who is passionate about helping patients reach their goals and get back to doing what they love most.

Stephanie has a special interest in treating patients with Parkinson's Disease. She is certified in LSVT BIG and PWR!Moves treatments for Parkinson’s Disease. Stephanie also enjoys working with the neurological population, including patients who have suffered from strokes and spinal cord injuries. She is trained in Neuro-IFRAH as well as McKenzie A & B for pain management.

Stephanie says she is inspired everyday by the motivation, dedication, strength, and commitment of her patients. When Stephanie sees their progress, it reminds her why she loves her job- empowering people to move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives.

Here’s to celebrating Stephanie, all of our amazing PTs, patients, and the power of movement this month! 💛

Today is World Stroke Day. The World Stroke Day theme for 2025 is ‘Every Minute Counts' which emphasizes the importance of recognizing symptoms early and the need to . With 1 in 4 of us at risk of having a stroke in our lifetime, it is in everyone's best interest to know the signs of a stroke. Time lost is brain lost. Seeking emergency care as soon as symptoms are noticed saves lives and can improve the chance of a full recovery from a stroke. Join us in increasing the awareness of stroke symptoms.
