For our April , we’d like you to meet Joyce!

She has only lived at Barclay House for 6 weeks, and she was chosen for the warm way she has already connected with those around her.

One thing she loves about living at Barclay House is the friendliness of the residents and staff.

If she could give one piece of advice, it would be to enjoy the journey, stay active, and cherish time with family and friends.

Fun fact: Joyce is married and has 4 sons. She has been with her husband Michael for 57 years. She worked in the school district for 20 years and loved watching the children grow and improve. She also played golf for 15 years with her husband, and nearly every place they traveled together involved golf. She still has many trophies proudly displayed in her apartment.

Joyce has brought so much life to Barclay House, and we are so lucky to have her!

For our April , we would like to recognize Carl! He has been with Barclay House for 3 months and has become a vital part of our community!

Carl is one of our team members here at Barclay House. He is an extremely hard worker and always goes above and beyond for our residents. Carl brings a positive attitude each day and enjoys connecting with both residents and coworkers, making him a great addition to the team.

His favorite part about working at Barclay House is meeting new and interesting people, spending time with the residents, and building relationships with his coworkers.

Fun Fact: Carl is a people person who loves to sing and describes himself as a laid-back kind of person.
