From the Bayou 🐊 to the Blue Ridge🏔️ I’ve learned that contrast is what brings depth to the familiar. ❄️🌞

Contrast is what turns an ordinary moment into something worth pausing for. Like the way I savor a Virginia snow day now, knowing that growing up down the bayou in Louisiana… snow wasn’t exactly part of my winter routine. 🐊👙

…and vice versa, like the way I deeply appreciate the warm summer sun on my skin, knowing that the seasons will soon change.💛

My goal is to create products meant to offer that same type of contrast, products that bring you moments of relief when you feel like you just can’t catch a break, products that help you to settle in and drop deeper into the life you’re already living, a little contrast to your day to help YOU experience the fullness of every season (of life).🎄🌞🌸🍂🍁❄️✨

Today was one of those “look mom, I made it!” moments for me! 🤪💪❤️🫶

We started the morning touring the warehouse of our newest partner, 🍻🍃🍸 the largest craft beverage distributor in Virginia!💪

We then visited 1 of the 20 in Virginia that now have Hiatus on the shelf! 🍷👏🙌

You can already find Hiatus on shelves at over 100 retailers and local bars across the southeast, but stay tuned because we have more exciting partnerships to announce soon! 🥤

❌  The h**p industry was sacrificed.

Yesterday, the “h**p ban” passed that would wipe out 95% of existing h**p products, the very products millions of Americans rely on for relief, wellness, balance, sleep, and calm.

💪BUT WE’RE NOT GIVING UP, we have 365 days to regulate, NOT BAN.

We already have a strong game plan in place, with a bill already in the works to replace the total ban with common sense h**p regulation.
 
We fought this far with your help and will need it moving forward. ❤️

🥺Unfortunately, yesterday, the US Senate approved language in the government funding bill that would ban all h**p products with more than 0.4mg TH🌊 per package, which would ban 95% of h**p C🐝D & TH🌊 products nationwide and end the American h**p industry.

The bill is now in the House and if passed will go straight to the President’s desk for final signature. There are 13+ GOP House Reps that oppose the h**p ban and we need to 🔥keep the pressure NON-STOP🔥 until we get this language killed.

We need YOUR to help, so we made it easy! 💪

Here’s what to do right now:

1. Message your US House Representatives.

Use the link in our bio to send a pre-written message urging them to vote NO ❌on the government funding bill with McConnell-Harris’s h**p ban.

2. Message President Trump 🇺🇸

After over a year of research, many rounds of recipe testings and refinements, designing, and late-night brainstorming… I finally got to try our 100% finished product! AHHH! 😭✨

Y’all… I was literally on a *Hiatus* (a horseback riding trip with my family) when we launched and couldn’t wait until I got home, so I had the first batch shipped straight to me.💌

It was one of those full-circle moments in life for me, not just because of how much love and work went into creating Hiatus, but because every can feels like a tiny piece of my art that I get to share with YOU.🎨 Each one is its own little mini *CAN*vas, 🖼️🖌️something I drew and kneaux each and every detail about, now out in the world for others to sit back, relax, & enjoy. 🫶
