LSU Laboratory School sophomore cheerleader Scarlett Phillips is celebrating a major milestone — completing chemotherapy after her osteosarcoma diagnosis last winter.

Throughout her treatment at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital with pediatric hematology and oncology specialist Dr. Jeff Deyo and our inpatient care team, Scarlett has inspired everyone around her with her faith, positivity and strength.

LSU Football star Whit Weeks, along with Landry Kiffin, helped spread some Halloween fun for our patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
