Meet Dr. Z

Dr. Ann Zedlitz "Dr. Z" specializes in Aesthetic Dermatology and is devoted to providing excellent customized patient care. Having experienced the struggles associated with skin issues, she is dedicated to helping every patient look and feel their best. Dr. Zedlitz is a resident of Baton Rouge and a proud graduate of LSU Medical School where she completed her studies with academic honors. She has earned double Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and Dermatology. Dr. Zedlitz was awarded the distinction of being appointed Chief Resident during her training as a dermatologist. She has 20 years of overall experience and most importantly, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Z is a laser specialist. Dr. Zedlitz was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the LSU Health Science Center. She has overseen the Laser Treatment Education Program for six years. In 2013, she was selected to receive the Presidential Citation at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Conference. Dr. Z won the Anti-Aging Beauty Trophy 2018-2019 in Monaco presented by EuroMedi.com for Best Laser Procedure. Dr. Ann Zedlitz has earned the distinction of being classified as an Expert Injector. Only board-certified dermatologists, plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, or facial plastic surgeons can become Expert Injectors. A physician must demonstrate an extreme commitment to consumer education, have quality results and patient safety. Expert Injectors only purchase injectable products from the proper manufacturer and only administer products that have earned FDA approval for aesthetic use. Although over a million American doctors are qualified to administer injectables fewer than seven percent of them qualify as Expert Injectors. Dr. Z is a cosmetic dermatology expert. Since June of 2015, Dr. Zedlitz has continuously been selected for the prestigious, nationally acclaimed Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the specialty of dermatology. As a leading expert, she has appeared weekly on the local ABC TV affiliate for 6 years and has appeared nationally on "The Doctors" TV Show.
