LDH announced the closure of its contract with UnitedHealthcare. As part of this transition, Medicaid members previously enrolled with UnitedHealthcare were reassigned to other participating MCOs to ensure uninterrupted access to care.

Medicare is at it again!! They are trying to bring competitive bidding back. This time they want to include urological supplies. If you are not aware what competitive bidding is and how it could impact you please read up. Please write to Medicare by 08/29 and let them know how important your relationship with your supplier is and how this could impact your medical equipment and medical supplies.

We would like to thank the Baton Rouge Fire Department for their quick response this morning. They were here within a few minutes and were able to contain a fire in our office building. We did not have any damage and are up and running!

Investigators are working to determine what caused a fire on Delplaza Drive Thursday morning.
