Since the early 1900s, Baton Rouge General has served the Baton Rouge community.

This Autism Awareness Month, our pediatric rehab team checked in with Matt from WAFB Channel 9 about the important resources at Baton Rouge General to help children with autism get the care they need at an early age!

We’re proud to have such advanced heart care close to home! The first renal denervation procedure was performed in the Baton Rouge General cath lab, offering new hope for patients with hard-to-control high blood pressure. The first RDN procedures were performed by Dr. Garland Green, interventional cardiologist with Cardiovascular Institute of the South and medical director of BRG’s cath lab, and Dr. Amit Patel, interventional cardiologist with CIS.
