A hybrid tummy tuck combines elements of both a full and a mini tummy tuck and is suitable for a very small group of patients. A hybrid tummy tuck is ideal for patients who need full abdominal muscle repair but only limited skin removal.

In a hybrid procedure, Dr. Sanchez removes the same amount of lower abdominal skin as a mini tummy tuck while completing muscle repair along the full length of the abdominal wall, similar to a full tummy tuck.
