Brushing twice a day is non-negotiable. Nighttime is just the most important one.

You should be brushing morning and night—but if there’s one you never skip, it’s before bed. That’s when saliva slows down and bacteria have the longest stretch to do damage.

Brushing at night:
• Clears out the day’s plaque and food buildup
• Protects enamel while you sleep
• Helps prevent cavities, gum inflammation, and morning breath
