My high school that I'm assigned to was not happy when I gave them the news that I am also assigned to two other schools this year as their Licensed Mental Health Counselor. They almost didn't recognize me because I pulled out Ms Black (my wig)on them today. 😁 I don't know how because I'm the only African American staff member besides the janitorial staff.😐 Needless to say, I'm praying that I can continue to 1. Educate staff, parents, and students the symptoms of and help for mental health problems.
2. Promote social and emotional competency and build resilience.
3.Help ensure a positive, safe school environment.
4. Reinforce positive behavior and decision making.. Happy first day of 2022-2023 school year... 🙂 -tmh
