National Doctors' Day is more than just a date on the calendar. March 30 marks a pivotal moment in medicine. The first successful use of general anesthesia in surgery by Crawford W. Long in 1842. A breakthrough that forever changed patient care, comfort, and safety.

A few weeks ago, some of our team had the privilege of attending the Camp Happy Days Gala in Charleston.

At the heart of Camp Happy Days is a powerful mission:
Until there’s a cure… there’s Camp Happy Days.

Their programs are dedicated to supporting children navigating life with cancer. Creating spaces that encourage connection, build confidence, and remind both kids and their families that they are never alone.

We’re grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event and to support an organization making a real difference. 💛

Last week some of our leadership team at DPI gathered for our annual Leadership Conference. A few days dedicated to stepping away from the daily pace of the OR to focus on something just as important: how we lead, support our clinicians, and strengthen the partnerships we have with the hospitals we serve.

We spent time reflecting on our culture, discussing how we continue to grow as an organization, and aligning around the kind of company we want DPI to be. One that values people, relationships, and showing up when it matters most.

One of the things that makes DPI special is the opportunity to bring leaders from across our sites together to share ideas, challenge each other, and continue building the culture that defines who we are.

Grateful for the conversations, the collaboration, and the people who make this team what it is.
