At Aalis, we believe healthcare is holistic, and that includes scalp and hair health.

Today I had the privilege of visiting Hair Wellness Center and being cared for by Ms. Brown, RN, a dedicated nurse and business owner who is creating a safe, clinical, and empowering space for women experiencing hair loss.

Hair thinning and shedding can happen for many reasons, stress, hormonal shifts, medications, weight changes, autoimmune conditions, or simply life. Yet so many women suffer quietly because of embarrassment or stigma.

What stood out to me was the professionalism, education, and compassion provided. This isn’t guesswork, it’s evidence-based care delivered with understanding.

As a fellow nurse and business owner, I am proud to highlight and support another Black-owned, women-owned healthcare business serving our community with excellence.

When we collaborate and uplift one another, we strengthen our community.
