Access to Better Communication is thrilled to announce our 2026 Summer Camp Program—thoughtfully designed enrichment experiences that combine learning, confidence-building, and unforgettable summer fun!

This year, ABC will offer three full-day camps at our clinic and three half-day camps at La Printaniere Montessori School. Each camp is led by our team of licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring that every activity is purposeful, engaging, and tailored to help children grow.

Our camps provide a dynamic and supportive environment where students will strengthen skills across:

• Language and communication
• Academic readiness and enrichment
• Social communication and peer interaction
• Executive functioning skills such as organization, problem-solving, and self-regulation

Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful peer connections, children will build confidence while developing skills that extend far beyond the summer months.

Spots are limited to maintain small group sizes and individualized attention. To secure your child’s place, simply scan the QR code on the flyers and complete the Google Form registration.

Come play with us at Play 4 All on Sunday, January 25! 😀
This special after-hours playtime is designed just for children with disabilities and their families, creating space for everyone to explore, imagine, and play at their own pace.

Discover the museum in a calmer, more inclusive setting with low lighting, reduced noise, and adaptive activities throughout all 18 Learning Zones. Every child can feel comfortable and confident while they play.

Thanks to the generous support of Hancock Whitney, this event is FREE to attend. Space is limited, so advance registration is required.

✨ ABC had an absolutely MAGICAL time at St. Luke’s Episcopal’s annual HOLLY JOLLY JAMBOREE! ✨

We loved creating a cozy WINTER WONDERLAND SENSORY ROOM for the sweetest 1–3 year olds — full of Christmas cheer, twinkling lights, and hands-on fun.

Honestly, we’re still not sure who enjoyed it more…the preschoolers, their parents, or our own team of enthusiastic SLPs! 🎄❄️

Thank you, St. Luke’s, for inviting us to be part of such a joyful tradition. We can’t wait for next year!

That's right! Kylee Burgess officially joined ABC's team of speech-language pathologists in July 2025 and we are so excited to have her! She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2023, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology from Louisiana State University in 2025.

While a student at UL, Kylee served as a peer mentor through the UL LIFE Program, where she supported young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in developing social, academic, and occupational skills. Kylee’s interest in speech-language pathology began through her work with the UL LIFE Program and is driven by her passion for advocating for individuals with disabilities. She holds special interests in expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, social skills, reading, and hearing loss.
