🌈 Rainbow Day at the Clinic! 🌈

Our team showed up bright and colorful for Rainbow Day, and the smiles say it all! From rainbow outfits to lots of laughter throughout the day, it was a fun reminder that a little color can make the day even brighter.

Just like a rainbow, every one of our clients brings something unique and special, and we’re grateful to celebrate the individuality, joy, and growth we see every day at the clinic. 💙

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Brittany, B.S., RT, RLT, RBT 🌟

We’re excited to highlight Brittany! A 2021 graduate of Southern University A&M College with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation & Leisure Studies, Brittany began her journey in ABA shortly after graduation and has been serving as an RLT since 2021. She earned her RBT credential in 2025 and is currently pursuing her master’s in ABA at Capella University as she works toward becoming a BCBA.

Brittany shares that she loves ABA because it allows her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch clients grow in independence, expand their knowledge, and achieve goals they once found challenging.

When she’s not at the clinic, Brittany enjoys traveling, baking sweet treats, watching criminal documentaries, and expressing her creativity through makeup artistry. We’re so grateful to have her passion, compassion, and dedication on our team! 💙

🎭 Mardi Gras Closure Notice 🎭

In celebration of Mardi Gras, Ascent Behavior Therapy Center will be closed on Monday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 17th.

We will reopen on Wednesday, February 18th and look forward to welcoming our families back!

💗 Friendships Come in Many Forms 💗

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s a great time to remember that connection doesn’t look the same for every child, and that’s perfectly okay. Some kids thrive with one close friend, enjoy playing side-by-side, or bond through shared interests rather than big social groups.

What matters most isn’t how many friends a child has, but how meaningful and comfortable those connections feel. When we celebrate all types of friendships, we help kids feel confident, accepted, and free from pressure to “fit in.”
