Syd is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a passion for bringing comfort and healing to people, especially in long-term care, where kindness and consistency matter so much.

With five years of experience in nursing communities, she understands the power of small moments of comfort — whether that’s easing tension, lifting moods, or simply helping someone feel seen and cared for. Syd’s holistic approach supports both residents and team members through wellness services that nurture the mind, body, and heart.

Outside of work, Syd is also a dedicated musician with five albums available on all streaming platforms. She believes music and massage share the same purpose: helping people feel understood and cared for!

Congratulations to Elder Outreach’s one and only, Michael Bordelon, on being named IT Leader of the Year (Private Sector) at the 2025 Louisiana IT Symposium after being nominated by our IT Director, Shawn Parker.

As one of only two IT team members supporting 600+ employees, Michael helps keep our communities running smoothly and securely overseeing everything from network administration and cybersecurity to EHR support and major tech projects.

His calm leadership, technical expertise, and genuine care for team members make him an invaluable part of Elder Outreach’s mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care for Louisiana’s seniors. We’re so proud to see his dedication recognized statewide!

What a great time we had today at Eastridge Nursing and Rehabilitation's Chili Cook-Off. Our head chili chef, Shawn, and sous chef, Michael, rustled up the most delicious pot of chili.

It’s showtime for Elder Outreach’s Crystal Broussard, a 2026 cast member of Crowley’s Dancing with the Stars, a program that raises funds each year to benefit local charitable causes, primarily the Rotary Club of Crowley’s community initiatives. Crystal will be representing Elder Outreach at the Grand Opera House on March 12th and 13th.
