Happy Occupational Therapy Month!
We are thrilled to honor the President of our Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association, Mrs. Jennifer Hluchy, whose journey in occupational therapy truly began long before her professional career ever did.

Raised in an occupational therapy environment, Jennifer quite literally grew up in the profession, spending her early years in the OT offices at ULM and learning firsthand what it means to serve, advocate, and lead. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Jennifer carries forward a legacy of leadership while forging her own path.

From serving on the LOTA Board in various capacities to becoming a seasoned clinician and respected leader across our state, Jennifer’s commitment to occupational therapy and to the people of Louisiana is evident in everything she does. Her passion for the profession, dedication to service, and steady leadership continue to strengthen OT practice and advocacy statewide.

Thank you, Jennifer, for embodying the heart of occupational therapy and for leading LOTA with vision, integrity, and deep-rooted love for this profession. We are grateful for you, this month, and always!
