Thanksgiving Garden Angel Philanthropic Project

Thank you to our generous Garden Club members for helping to create a Happy Thanksgiving for Women’s Community Rehabilitation Center (WCRC), the only Residential Treatment facility serving women with severe and persistent mental illness in our area, and Metanoia, the safe haven for girls of human trafficking. The Garden Angels were able to deliver turkeys, hams, many dried and canned goods along with desserts, so the ladies, young girls and respective staffs could enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving feast.

Sarah Wilde and Janel Chapman had a warm welcome and many thanks from the residents and staff of WCRC when delivering Thanksgiving celebration food in addition to many canned goods to help fill their pantry for meals in the holiday season. Sister Ruth, one of the Hospitaller Sister of Mercy who help run Metanoia, met Claire Yeargain and Janel Chapman at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church to receive many boxes and bags of food as well as a turkey, a ham, and pies and cookies. Your generous support of our Garden Club members is appreciated by both the ladies at WCRC and the girls at Metanoia. Thank you for sharing love and kindness to so many and providing a special Thanksgiving celebration to WCRC and Metanoia!
