Lord, we thank you for remaining with us in spirit and truth. We honor your presence wholeheartedly. Remain with us.

Thank you for your peace that surpasses our understanding.
Grant us wisdom that we might accept what is to come.

Breathe upon our patients on this day and let them feel you. We know that with your breath comes comfort.

It is in Jesus'name that we pray, Amen.

Today Entergy 9 Mile Point stopped by to bring donated Christmas stockings that their staff stuffed with goodies for our patients.
We are so blessed to have community partners like them.

Tuesday's Prayer - For parents of children who are on hospice care.

Lord, we come to you today to ask that you comfort all parents that are faced with the heavy challenge of facing the end of life for their child. We do not understand the why or the how of the matter but we know that you are the only one capable of ushering comfort and peace towards them at this time. Be steadfast and throw your weight around their hearts. Console them and allow them to feel your presence as they go through this season. Thank you for giving us prayer so that we may intercede on their behalf. Amen.

Weekly Tuesday's Prayer- Week 3 Our Covering all Hospices in Louisiana:

Heavenly Father, as we care for those at the end of life, please fill us with Your presence and peace. Give us the wisdom to listen, the compassion to comfort, and the courage to serve with love. Unite us in purpose, that we may be a blessing to the patients and families entrusted to our care, and may we always remember the profound gift of life and the sacredness of each moment. Strengthen us for the heavy work, renew our spirits, and remind us that we are not alone in this calling. In Your holy name, Amen."

WEEKLY PRAYER Leading Up to Christmas- Prayer for Hospice Patients: Week 2

God, thank you for being with us right now. We confess that we don’t understand why things happen the way they do. We don’t understand why illness comes into our lives, but we do know that you walk every path of life with us. Remind hospice patients all over the world that you are walking with him/her right now. Remind them that you love him/her, no matter what he/she is going through. We also pray for their families. Give them your strength as they care for their loved ones. God, we thank you that you never leave us, that you never forsake us, but you love us with a immeasurable and never-ending love. We trust you, and pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

WEEK 1- Prayer for Families of Hospice Patients:

O God, you give us strength in weakness and hope in despair; we are yours in life and death. Sustain us for the journey of walking our loved one home to you. Give us the graces you gave those who walked with your Son as he approached his passion and death. Steady our hands, gentle our hearts, and sustain our spirits. May we see your face in the people who love and care for our loved one. May we experience your compassionate presence in them. We ask you, Lord, to look with favor on your humble servants; keep us near to you and assure us of your love, your faithfulness and your promise of life eternal. Give us the grace to travel this journey in your peace, with patience, love and trust. Amen.
