Self-care doesn’t end as soon as your session is over! These simple practices will go a long way post-massage🤎

After massage Self-Care Practices:
- Drink more water! You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces
- Go for a 5-10 minute walk to get lymph fluid circulating
- Apply Heat or Cold as needed!
Heat for tension & Cold for inflammation
- Practice Deep Breathing.
This helps maintain the relaxed state of mind.
- Schedule your next session to keep you on track with your wellness goals.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read through my updated policies! They’re in place to help keep sessions running smoothly, respect everyone’s time, and create a safe, comfortable environment for all clients.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee. No-shows are responsible for 100% of the session fee. This policy helps protect the time that’s set aside just for you and allows the schedule to run fairly for everyone.

Payment Policy:
Payment is due at the time of your session. Cash and checks are preferred, but Venmo and credit card payments through Square are also accepted.
• When using Venmo, please include just a single emoji as the caption.
• Square credit card payments include a small service fee.

Arrival + Office Details:
When you arrive, please check in with the front desk and wait in the waiting room. I’ll come downstairs to get you when it’s time for your session. There is a no-shoe policy once upstairs, so please remove your shoes before entering the treatment area. Thank you for helping keep the space clean and welcoming.

Session Expectations:
If anything feels uncomfortable or painful during your massage, please speak up right away. Communication is essential for a safe, effective session. All massages are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual. As a medical massage professional, I reserve the right to end a session if any behavior is inappropriate or makes me uncomfortable.

It’s more than okay to change your mind in the middle of a massage. It’s actually natural.

As your body settles and your nervous system begins to relax, sensations shift. What felt helpful at the start of the session may feel different halfway through, and that’s completely normal. Massage is collaborative. Your comfort and your experience matter more than sticking to a plan we made at the beginning of the appointment. Please know you’re always welcome to: • adjust pressure • switch areas • ask for more warmth • request silence or conversation • change techniques • or simply tell me what your body is asking for now

Your session is your space. Your voice belongs in the room, and I’m here to make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

In 2023, I traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to become certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). MLD is a gentle, specialized technique that helps reduce swelling and inflammation while supporting the body’s natural healing process.

Did you know we have over 600–700 lymph nodes in our body?! The lymphatic system is truly incredible, and there are SO many benefits to supporting it through this type of bodywork.

So who is a great candidate for MLD?
Everyone!! But especially those experiencing:
• A need for soothing, deeply relaxing bodywork
• Post-traumatic or post-surgical swelling
• Whiplash
• Hematomas
• Palliative care needs
• Autoimmune disorders (Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hashimoto’s & more)
• Migraines & sinus headaches
• Cellulite
• Pregnancy-related edema
