According to The American Academy of Pediatrics, breastfeeding reduces the risk of sleep-related infant death. If you bring your baby into bed to feed or comfort them, be sure to follow safe sleep practices every time. When feeding is done, place your baby back in their own safe sleep space — on their back, in a crib or bassinet, with no loose bedding or soft objects.

Image shows a baby sleeping on their back with arms raised above their head, wearing a white shirt.

At Bronson, we’re proud to support organizations that make a difference in our communities. This month, we sponsored and attended several local events, including the NAACP Kalamazoo Freedom Fund Dinner, the Kalamazoo Northside Ministerial Alliance Prayer Breakfast and the Burma Center’s Friendraiser in Battle Creek.

At the Friendraiser, we were also proud to see Erick Stewart, a member of our Board of Directors, receive an award on behalf of the Stewart family for their support of the Burma Center. Congratulations to the Stewarts for this well-deserved recognition and for all they do to make our community stronger!

These partnerships reflect our mission to advance the health of our communities by working together and building strong local connections. We’re honored to celebrate and support the people and programs that help our region thrive.
