PLEASE READ:
If you ask the people who set up and hold estate sales, there is a lot ābehind the sale sceneā that we try our best to present the sale to our customers and have a great time visiting with you all!
Please keep in mind that we are āinvadingā a neighborhood that now has numerous cars coming/going and parking all over.
Parking in front of mailboxes has become an issue.
Some people have mail delivery which includes their prescriptions or a much needed check, or gifts this time of year.
The mail delivery driver for my last sale wonāt even THINK about coming into the cul de sac if a car is even CLOSE to a mailbox when he passes by, which a neighbor had shared with us. We tried to watch and keep the mailboxes clear.
We had a customer argue with us that he wasnāt blocking the mailbox after i asked him to move. He got into his van and parked DIRECTLY in front of the mailbox, opened his door and looked back at us while his wife shopped! After he left, a customer came up and said she saw a guy get out of his gray van and toss my sign into someoneās yard!
I had placed an orange cone to where the van had left so it wouldnāt happen again and sure enough the mail delivery guy ran right over it with no hesitation or trying to avoid it when delivering the mail. Thatās just who he is.
So PLEASE be respectful of other neighborhoods as they may have certain āasks of the estate sale companiesā as to keep their mail coming and driveways clear.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
