Starfire Herbs and Acupuncture

Starfire Herbs and Acupuncture Acupuncture therapy can be used as a "first" instead of a "last" resort; Many conditions have been improved using acupuncture for two thousand years.

Feel free to call with questions, as nothing online is ever able to be completely confidential. Since 2001, the community in Battle Ground has been very welcoming of acupuncture, many having received acupuncture from Dr. Parks in the 80’s and 90’s. Laurie Solomon began sharing acupuncture healing techniques at the offices of Dr. Randy Norris at Nu-Life Chiropractic back in 2001. Since that time, Ms. Solomon also practiced at Battle Ground Healing Arts in the early 2000’s, and then for nearly 10 years Starfire Herbs & Acupuncture was at what is now the Seamar (this company provides sliding scale health care for low-income people in need of medical care as well as helping people sign up for health-care insurance through the state/medicaid or federal government/medicare) building on South Parkway. Since 2016, Starfire Herbs & Acupuncture has been located at 304 S. Parkway Ave, in what used to be Dr. Barcus’ vision clinic.

Acupuncture can have amazing restorative effects for post-stroke return of function. Ideally the treatments begin immediately after release from the hospital, but up to 6 weeks later can have nearly as many positive outcomes when done in conjunction with physical therapy and/or Tai Chi. After 6-9 months, only pain relief is likely.

Here's a little short explanation for this treatment:

This non-surgical treatment can eliminate pain, restore mobility and significantly improve a person's quality of life in minutes. TRT delivers high energy ac...

Our history in Battle Ground

Since 2001, the community in Battle Ground has been very welcoming of acupuncture, many having received acupuncture from Dr. Parks in the 80’s and 90’s. Laurie Solomon began sharing acupuncture healing techniques at the offices of Dr. Randy Norris at Nu-Life Chiropractic back in 2001. Since 2016, Starfire Herbs & Acupuncture has been located at 304 S. Parkway Ave, in what used to be Dr. Barcus’ vision clinic. This comfortable clinic space is shared with another acupuncturist, Jim Darling as well as a very skilled reflexologist, Elizabeth Merriman, as well as a very experienced massage therapist, Stefanie Adams.
