Our Assisted Living went on an adventurous lunch outing today but ended up having a fabulous time. Lunch at Cracker Barrel with a little shopping and Great Food!!! The weather was absolutely perfect to Rock in the Rocking Chairs!!!!

🌺 Dia de Los Mu***os is a 2 day holiday on November 1st and 2nd that reunites the living and dead. Today we decorated our own Ofrenda to honor our residents that have passed this year.
Residents shared memories of their friends that are no longer with us. Our Culinary Director made traditional Day of the Dead Bread or known as Pan de Mu***os, a sweet bread to honor loved ones at Dia de Los Mu***os. ***os2025

October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month and for our Acts of Service for October our Crochet Club has been working hard to make baby hats!! Durlene one of our Ambassadors helped with the donation at Mercy NICU Labor and Delivery.

October’s Story Corner was “Binny’s Diwali” by Thirty Umrigar and Illustrated by Nidhl Chanani. This book was a beautiful illustration of how Diwali is celebrated. Thank you to the children that showed up for Story Corner and for making our residents day!! We love when we have children in our Community!!!
