💜💛💚 “Laissez les bons temps rouler” — that means “Let the good times roll!” 💚💛💜

And that’s exactly what we did today at Action Pact! 🎉We celebrated Mardi Gras with beads, laughter, and plenty of pizza! 🍕

Did you know Mardi Gras means “Fat Tuesday” in French? It’s traditionally the last big celebration before the season of Lent begins. The colors you see everywhere today even have meaning:

💜 Purple = Justice
💚 Green = Faith
💛 Gold = Power

I’d say we had a whole lot of all three in this room today.

There’s just something special about gathering around a table, sharing food and stories, and celebrating together. Days like this remind me how important connection and community really are.

Thank you, Action pact family, for always letting us come be part of the fun. We left with full hearts — and full stomachs too! 😉

Happy Presidents Day 🇺🇸

Today we honor the leaders who have helped shape our nation — and we’re reminded that leadership is really about service.

At Comfort Care Hospice, we believe the greatest leadership often happens quietly…
at the bedside, in living rooms, in hospital rooms, and in the small moments that matter most.

Here’s to serving with integrity.
Here’s to caring with compassion.
Here’s to standing for comfort, dignity, and community.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Presidents Day ❤️💙

❤️👑 BEANS OF LOVE & A ROYAL VALENTINE 👑❤️

Our Valentine’s at the Pavilion was AMAZING!!

From the "Beans of Love" auction… to crowning our King & Queen… to piñata swings and nonstop laughter — the joy in that room was everything. ❤️

Huge shoutout to one of our sweet volunteers Kayla Morris for always showing up with the biggest heart.

Thank you Dianne Henry & Sheila Collins , our rockstar Activity Directors, for partnering with us and making it all so fun and meaningful, and showing so much love to the residents!

Shoutout to Santina Marcello Fryer with Gents & Glam for helping add that extra sparkle!

And to the entire Pavilion staff at Appling Healthcare — thank you for welcoming us and loving these residents so well.

This is what community looks like.
This is what love in action looks like.
We are so thankful to be part of it. 💙

Be sweet.

Be creative.
Be completely unpredictable. 😄

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from Comfort Care Hospice ! ❤️

Love doesn’t have to be grand to be powerful.
It shows up in the smallest, sweetest ways.

A smile in the hallway.
A volunteer sitting bedside.
A family holding hands.

That’s the kind of love we get to witness every single day. 💙

Today, let’s be intentional about sharing it.

Call someone.
Visit someone.
Check on someone who might need it.

And in the comments, tag someone who makes your heart feel full. 💌

Because comfort always begins with love.

Did you know hospice is fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances?

One of the biggest concerns families have is cost — and most are relieved to learn that hospice brings nurses, aides, equipment, medications, supplies, volunteer support, and 24/7 support directly to them.

Hospice is about surrounding families with more support.

If you’ve ever wondered what hospice really includes, ask questions 💙 We love educating our community.

💙 A gentle reminder for our healthcare community…

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing when to start the conversation.

If you’re seeing patients with advanced COPD, CHF exacerbations, increasing weakness, noticeable decline, families who seem overwhelmed, or families shifting to focus on comfort over curative treatments — it may be time to at least explore hospice.

Hospice isn’t about giving up. It’s about adding support.

Earlier involvement often means more comfort, fewer crises, and smoother transitions for everyone.

If you’re ever unsure, we’re always happy to talk through a situation.

Sometimes the best care starts with a simple conversation. 💙

Today’s outreach looked a little different 🍕
In honor of National Pizza Day, we shared a few surprise deliveries as a small thank-you to those who care for our community every day.
