​We so enjoyed hosting the Riverton Elementary 4th and 5th-grade orchestra Monday. There is something so special about seeing our residents light up while watching these talented kids play.

​New Friends: Our residents love sharing stories with the younger generation.

Activity: Parachute Balloon

​Physical wellness is about more than just movement—it’s about connection, coordination, and community. Today, we grabbed the parachute and put our teamwork to the test!

​Activities like this are a fantastic way to:

​Boost Upper Body Strength: Lifting and snapping the parachute keeps those muscles engaged.

​Improve Reflexes: Tracking the ball and reacting to its movement is great for hand-eye coordination.

​Elevate the Mood: Socializing and laughing together is just as important for our health as the physical exercise itself.

​It’s inspiring to see everyone participate with such energy and focus. Staying active is a team effort!

🌸 Spring Fling Family Night at Quaker Hill! 🌸

​Our hearts are full after a wonderful Spring Fling Family Night! It was a joy to see our facility filled with residents, families, and so much laughter with wellness at the center.

​There’s no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow quite like the smiles on our residents' faces! We had a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day celebration filled with all things green, creative, and delicious. 🌈✨

​Social wellness is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s gathering for a festive craft session, sharing a sweet treats like our shamrock cookies, or simply enjoying a "green" toast with friends, these moments of connection are what make our community shine.

There is a special kind of healing that doesn’t come from a medication cart or a treatment plan. One of our elders was had the beautiful opportunity to be a part of the wedding celebration of his granddaughter. Seeing the joy on a grandfather’s face as he sees his granddaughter be joined in holy matrimony, to the quiet peace of holding a new great-grandchild, reminds us that life doesn't stop moving just because our pace has slowed down.

Staying connected to family milestones keeps the spirit young and the heart full. Being a witness to a new marriage or a new life reminds our residents that they are a vital part of a legacy. A change of scenery and the warmth of a hug are sometimes the best therapy there is.

These moments aren't just events—they are the heartbeat of emotional wellness.

👨‍🍳 A Huge Thank You to Our "Chef" Today!

They say the way to the heart is through the stomach, and our Administrator, Mandy, definitely proved that yesterday! 🌽✨

For Employee Appreciation Day, Mandy went above and beyond by firing up the grill and cooking a delicious succotash lunch for staff members and our residents. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a chance for us all to slow down, catch up, and enjoy some incredible food together.

Thank you for making sure we feel valued and supported.

It’s not every day you see the boss behind the grill, and it made our day feel personal and special. THANK YOU!
