Pinehaven Youth and Family Services, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, was founded in 2007 to provide services to youth who range from newborn up to 21, and their families. The agency licenses foster parents who are screened, oriented, trained, and supervised to provide services to youth placed within their home. Pinehaven's foster homes provide a supportive living environment with access to therapeutic services combined with educational programing, vocational skills training, recreational opportunities, social skills training, and cognitive restructuring aimed to assist individuals in achieving healthy spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical development. to provide a safe, stable living environment along with therapeutic support elements necessary to positively impact resistant individuals, and to instill through relationships and role modeling, active participation, cognitive and behavioral changes that will help youth create positive changes in their lives.
