At Baxter Dental, we combine gentle care with digital technology to provide a comfortable, modern dental experience for the whole family.

We believe in building long-term relationships with our patients based on trust, transparency, and compassion. Born and raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota, Dr. Scott Timmons lives with his wife, Alison, and their three children Marty (15 years old), Marcella (13 years old) and Kellan (11 years old) in Lake Shore, Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Dr. Timmons purchased Baxter Dental in 2006. Dr. Timmons and his family loves golfing, hunting and spending time on the lake. A Brainerd native, Dr. Justin Gangestad and his wife Meghan live in Baxter and have 5 kids, Thomas (7 years old), James (5 years old), Benjamin (3 years old), Joseph (2 year old) and Catherine who was born in January 2022. He graduated from Pillager High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in health science zoology from North Dakota State University. Dr. Gangestad joined Baxter Dental after earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Gangestad and his family loves the outdoors and enjoys pretty much anything to get them outside including recreational sports, hiking, swimming, skiing, biking, fishing, and hunting.
