🎄🚀 Elf Launch Day! 🚀🎄

Bob and Tony are officially heading back to the North Pole today! With Christmas Eve tomorrow, our favorite clinic elves need to report back to Santa ASAP 🎅❄️

After a full month of mischief, laughs, and spreading holiday cheer around the clinic, we tried to give them a smooth send-off… but as you can see from the bloopers, things didn’t go exactly as planned 😂

Thank you to everyone who followed along with Bob and Tony’s adventures all month. Your likes, comments, and holiday spirit made this season extra fun for our team!

Our elves have been busy this month getting ready for their Christmas Carnival 🎄

Between ring toss, bean bag toss, and other festive games, they’ve been showing off a lot of the skills they’ve been working on here, like balance while standing and reaching, fine motor control for ring toss, and shoulder strength and coordination for the bean bags.

It’s been fun watching these skills come together in playful ways and seeing just how much progress can show up when therapy looks like a game. More elf adventures coming soon… ✨🎯

The elves from the Renue Frankenmuth and Bridgeport teams were busy last night as we hosted the return of our Holiday Cheer with Santa event! ✨🎅🏼✨

Thank you to all who joined us for yummy treats, fun, fellowship and of course a visit with the big guy himself. We are so blessed to be part of such an amazing community, and it was a joy to see all your smiling faces this Christmas season.

🎄 The elf antics continue at Renue Bay Rd!

Tony and Bob are working hard to earn their return trip to the North Pole! 💪🧝‍♂️ They’ve been using our BTE work simulator to replicate the specific tasks they’ll need back in Santa’s workshop.

Our clinic offers certified hand therapy, and we use tools like the BTE to simulate real work activities, helping people build the strength and endurance needed to safely return to work.

These elves are putting in the work and getting workshop-ready! ❄️✨

🎄🦷 Holiday treats can be tough on your jaw!

Bob’s jaw started hurting after enjoying some peanut brittle, so we worked on TMJ exercises to help calm things down. Meanwhile, Tony is “helping” by finishing off what’s left of the treats!

TMJ symptoms often flare up around the holidays when we’re eating foods we don’t usually have, especially hard, chewy, or crunchy treats.

The good news? Physical therapy can help reduce pain, improve jaw mobility, and keep you enjoying the season a little more comfortably.

Even when they’re away from the North Pole, the work never stops for an elf 🎄🧝‍♂️

After lots of repetitive toy-making and painting, Tony and Bob started having wrist and hand pain. Luckily, our skilled hand therapy team was on the case!

🖐️ Tony was diagnosed with De Quervain’s synovitis and fitted with a custom thumb splint to limit motion and calm his pain.

⌨️ Bob has carpal tunnel syndrome, so his custom splint helps limit wrist motion and reduce nerve irritation.

The best part? Both elves are still able to keep working while wearing their custom-made splints, because the right treatment keeps you moving, even during the busiest season of the year. 🎁💪
