Taking a little time for me 🪞✨

Between work, kids, and a calendar that never seems to slow down, I realized I’ve been putting my own needs on the back burner — especially when it comes to my smile.
Lately, I’ve noticed some shifting and crowding, and honestly, it started to bother me. So, I finally decided to do something I’ve wanted for a while… I am starting my Invisalign journey! 🦷💫

This isn’t just about straighter teeth — it’s about feeling confident, taking care of my dental health, and giving myself permission to invest in me.

20 years ago Dr. LeBourdais returned to his hometown of Bay City to practice orthodontics!

Did you know his dental 🦷 journey started in Ann Arbor at U of M Dental School, then on to Okinawa, Japan serving Navy and Marine service members and their families. He finished his Naval service at Great Lakes in Chicago before beginning his residency for orthodontics in Minneapolis. He returned to Bay City in 2005, to carry on the excellence of Dr Massignan’s orthodontic practice.

🦷✨ Why Age 7 Is the Magic Number for an Orthodontic Checkup! ✨🦷

Did you know the American Association of Orthodontists recommends kids have their first orthodontic exam by age 7?

At this age, your child’s smile is a mix of baby and permanent teeth—making it the ideal time to check how everything is developing. 👶➡️🧒

Sometimes, removing a few baby teeth early can guide the permanent teeth into better alignment, using natural forces like the lips, cheeks, and mouth muscles. This is called interceptive treatment, and it can make future orthodontic care simpler and shorter!
