We are thrilled to announce Wes Johnson is joining our team!

Wes is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is passionate about helping people work through life’s challenges and build healthier, more meaningful lives. As the father of four children, he understands firsthand how complex life, relationships, and family responsibilities can be. His experience as a parent gives him a practical and compassionate perspective when working with clients who are trying to balance personal struggles, relationships, and everyday life. Wes has twenty years of experience working with children and young adults as a teacher and school administrator, and now works with clients of all age. He uses several proven therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Wes is a Christian and understands that faith can play an important role in many people’s lives. For clients who desire it, he is comfortable incorporating Christian-based perspectives into the counseling process. At the same time, he respects that every client has different beliefs and values, and he is equally committed to providing secular, evidence-based therapy for those who prefer a non-faith-based approach.

It’s time for our annual adopt a grandparent program! The resident at our local assisted living homes absolutely love these! Here are the details if you would like to get involved.

We are looking for local organizations or classrooms to adopt a home. Class rooms in the past have either taken a field trip during the school day or had a few kids meet after school to help deliver the buddies. We help set you up with a home depending on how many residents you would like to adopt. Once you have all your residents adopted we will set up delivery.

If you are an individual who would like to adopt a buddy that works as well! Just give us a call!

Each buddy is $10 and can paid for by calling the store at 989-684-2741, Venmo at Sarah-Bridgewater-4 (4078 last for digits), or cash at delivery.
