Today, we feature our provider, Jeffrey Whitener, D.O., Medical Director
Dr. Jeffrey Whitener is a board certified emergency medicine physician. He grew up in Clemson, South Carolina and attended the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York in 2016. During his training, Dr. Whitener founded the Wilderness Medicine Interest Group and was awarded Most Outstanding Resident. Following residency, he moved to Mobile, AL to be near family and for the much desired southern living. Dr. Whitener enjoys spending his free time outdoors and is happily married with two young daughters.
