According to recent statistics, su***de has been the second leading cause of death in 10-14 year olds and ninth in 5-9 year olds in 2024/2025. Before the school year starts, take five minutes to talk to your child about the importance of kindness. Discuss how their words and actions can impact others. Remind them that everyone deserves respect and empathy, regardless of their background or circumstances. Explain that school should be a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive. By teaching kindness and empathy, you can help your child develop essential life skills and values. It starts with you and can make a significant difference.
