Sacred Alignment Wellness provides guidance for your healing journey through energy medicine, hands on healing and wellness education to help you achieve a state of balance and alignment. Dr. Gina Marie Witt is an Energy Medicine Practioner and member of the Integrated Therapeutic Alignment Energy Medicine Association, Inc. After obtaining her Osteopathic Medical Degree and her Pediatric Board Certification, Gina realized that she needed to go beyond the scope of western medicine to fulfill her passion for assisting others with their health and well being. Practicing Energy Medicine enables Gina to assist clients from the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels to create long lasting results. Gina offers an holistic approach to health care offering ITA Energy Medicine as one of the founding practitioners in the United States. Gina also is a trained Reiki Practitioner, Certified Raindrop Therapy Practitioner, Essence of Angels Teacher and Practitioner and Crystal Light Healing Practitioner.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being invited to share some tips and lead meditation for the AP Psychology students at Bayport Blue Point High School as part of the class’s self-care week.

It was an inspiring hour filled with openness, curiosity and insight from the students.

The students shared how they felt more relaxed and clear after we practiced simple techniques like abdominal breathing and grounding. Most notable were a few students who recognized that after our meditation they no longer felt the headache or stomach pain they had felt earlier! This is such a testament to the mind, body, spirit connection. With just few simple breathing, grounding and meditation tools, we can empower ourselves to support our own balanced well being physically, mentally and emotionally.

Sharing these simple meditation tools and tips is something I am so passionate about as it can make such a difference in everyday life and how we approach each moment. Kudos to the AP psychology teacher for recognizing the value in self care and planting these important seeds.
