✨ Celebrating 95 Years ✨

On November 18, 1930, the doors of the grand Royal Pine Hotel opened to the public. With 172 guest rooms and breathtaking views of Crystal Lake, it was one of the most remarkable developments of its time—an iconic part of Ocean County history.

Today, the very same building continues to serve the community in a new way. As Crystal Lake Healthcare, we are proud to carry forward the legacy of hospitality, welcoming our residents with the same spirit of comfort and care.

From its beginnings as the Grand Royal Pine Hotel through decades of changes to the Crystal Lake Healthcare we know today- a legacy still standing strong!

Crystal Lake Healthcare was honored to celebrate Veterans Day last week with a day dedicated to the brave men and women who served our country.
The morning featured a special Veterans breakfast, and in the afternoon, residents and team members gathered for a meaningful ceremony and cake. We were pleased to welcome back Linda DellaPietro, retired Activities Director, who graciously led the ceremony and provided the celebration cake.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all Veterans for their service and sacrifices. 🇺🇸

Our residents and community members loved seeing them trot on by — even the Headless Horseman made an appearance for some Halloween fun!

To top off the perfect fall afternoon, everyone enjoyed Apple Cider and Donuts. 👻💀

Our residents had a spook-tacular time celebrating the Halloween season with a Wrap the Mummy contest! Laughter, creativity, and plenty of smiles filled the room thanks to our amazing activities team who always bring the fun. 🧻🧡

We love seeing our residents enjoy every moment of the season!

🚂 Community Connection!

This past Saturday, Crystal Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was proud to provide breakfast for the dedicated volunteers of the Berkeley Township Historical Society. These hardworking individuals of Train Crew 2173 have been spending their free time refurbishing the town’s historic locomotive — a true piece of local history!

✨ Fun Fact:
The locomotive once served the Royal Pine Hotel, which stood right where Crystal Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is today. The train was used to cart away soil as workers created the manmade lake in front of the hotel.

The new Administrative and Nursing Team at Crystal Lake are honored to celebrate and support those preserving our community’s history. Thank you to the Berkeley Township Historical Society for recognizing the rich history of The Royal Pine Hotel now Crystal Lake!
