We provide speech and language therapy for children, young adults, and adults with a variety of speech production difficulties and language learning disorders. All our therapists are fully licensed in the state of NJ and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Services can be covered utilizing your health insurance plan and private pay options. We accept all major credits cards, check, and cash.

Meet Gina LaHaye, MA CCC SLP, a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with over 35 years of experience supporting children across a wide range of ages and developmental needs.
Gina has worked in local school districts throughout Ocean County and brings decades of hands on knowledge to her work with students and families. Her clinical experience includes early language development, articulation disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, and the Picture Exchange Communication System.

At Ocean Speech and Learning Center, Gina creates therapy sessions that are welcoming, interactive, and fun. She believes that strong progress begins with connection and works to create a supportive environment where every child feels heard and encouraged.
Gina values close collaboration with families and believes teamwork plays a key role in helping children reach their highest potential. She is committed to lifelong learning and continues to expand her clinical skills to best serve the children in her care.

When she is not at Ocean Speech, Gina enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends and keeping up with her energetic black lab.

Meet Samantha Claxton, MS CCC SLP, a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who joined Ocean Speech and Learning Center in 2025.

Samantha provides speech therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children throughout Ocean County. She brings experience from both school based and outpatient settings and supports a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language delays, daily living skills, and augmentative and alternative communication systems.

Samantha’s therapy sessions are known for being fun, flexible, and thoughtfully tailored to each child’s strengths and goals. She focuses on building foundational communication skills that support academic success and confident self expression.

Passionate about ongoing learning, Samantha stays current with the latest research and innovations in speech language pathology so she can bring effective, evidence based strategies to the children and families she serves.

Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys spending time with her large family and friends, traveling with her husband, and relaxing at home while crocheting her latest project.
