Heritage Rehab This made our Monday. 💙 Steve, your determination is inspiring—and kudos to the whole Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehabilitation therapy team.
Let's start the week off with a success story from Shady Lawn!
"Steve Rabatin admitted to our SNF side following a hospitalization, on admit was not able to ambulate, globally weak and required extensive assist. Through hard work with the therapy team he was able to transition to ALF where he continued with out pt PT d/t ortho orders and pt stated that if PT was not successful, he would require shoulder surgery. The motivation that Steve has shown during his therapy sessions progressed to where he would come to therapy to work on HEP even on days when he was not scheduled. The bond he built with Bryan has been so uplifting. Steve stated:
"Physical Therapy helped me to walk properly, helped my balance and my strength. I didn't think it was possible but I don't think I need surgery now (for my shoulder).Bryan has taught me good exercises that I am able to continue with and I can't say enough good about Bryan. I could not have gotten to where I am at today without his encouragement. You guys have the most professional therapy department. Steph, Carla and Luke have also all been a big help to get me to where I am."
Amazing work, Steve and the Shady Lawn Team!
