Join us on Friday, April 24 from 7–9 AM at the Indian Creek Mall Parking Lot in Beatrice, NE for a free drive-thru breakfast and information on cancer prevention and screening.

Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in Nebraska, and many adults are not up to date on recommended screenings despite the fact that early detection can significantly improve outcomes.

You’ll receive a simple screening checklist, information on local resources, and support if you are overdue for screenings.

Don't snooze on your cancer screenings! 😴 We are proud to partner with Nebraska Extension and the Buffet Cancer Center on this event to bring awareness to the importance of annual and age-related cancer screenings. Early detection means better outcomes and we encourage you to talk with your primary care provider about your screening needs.

Join us on Friday, April 24 from 7–9 AM for a free drive-thru breakfast and information on cancer prevention and screening at the Indian Creek Mall parking lot.

Thank you to our B*H Nutritional Services Tech Patty Collins and B*H Nutritional Services Coordinator Kalli Roelfs for cooking and serving their delicious Creamy Sausage Tortellini Soup at this year’s Empty Bowls Luncheon today. This soup was a family recipe that Patty brought to Beatrice Community Hospital as a menu idea. It won last year's Empty Bowls Luncheon, and it is a top seller in our cafeteria!

The luncheon offers the community a chance to sample some awesome-tasting soups and, most importantly, support the Beatrice Backpack Program, which sends home backpacks filled with food for qualifying children. Thank you to everyone who helps make this program possible! 🥣🎒
