Platypus Protected is a licensed and 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit, no-kill shelter located in Beatrice, Ne. We mostly have seniors, special needs and previously abused residents. A few are in large kennels (referred to as apartments here) but most have free run of the house. In addition to purchased food, I make some for added nutrition and fewer chemicals If you wish to donate we have fundraisers on FaceBook off and on throughout the year.
