It's officially spring, which means longer, warmer days..and more opportunities to spend time outside. We're so lucky to live in an area with close access to the ocean! One of the world's most therapeutic places.

Nature can aid in one's grief journey in so many ways. It reminds us of the cycle of life. It affords us the quietness and solitude to process our emotions. It also brings wonder and curiosity back into our lives!

Is there a place around town you love to go when spending time outdoors? The beach? A walk around your neighborhood? We'd love to know!

We're here to answer your questions about prepaid funeral plans and to take away the fear from preplanning/prepaying. Here are some myth-busting reasons why you should consider prepaying for your funeral with Noe Funeral Service.

Myth #1: Your money is better off in the bank.
- Yes, your money can earn a small amount of interest in the bank, but prepaying for your funeral allows you to skirt imminent inflation on products and services by locking in your price.

Myth #2: You'll lose your investment if the funeral home goes out of business
- Yes, any business can go under, but state regulations require that prepaid funeral plan payments are securely invested with an independent entity, keeping your funds safe.

Myth #3: Life insurance covers funeral expenses.
- If you have a life insurance policy, you will not receive a payout until weeks after death (while funeral expenses are due at the time of service, typically), And there's no guarantee that the insurance payout will cover the cost of funeral expenses.

We know making the decision to take care of final needs in advance is difficult, and many people don't know where to start. That's why we offer a free, no-obligation preplanning guide to help you make the best decision for your family. Give our team a call to learn more today! (252) 728-2336

Our Story

Welcome to Noe Funeral Service located in the beautiful and historic town of Beaufort, NC. I, Chris Noe, have been a National Board Certified and State Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 2004. Having worked for other funeral homes, it was my dream to bring a funeral home back to my hometown of Beaufort where the Noes have lived since 1842. That dream was realized in 2013 and as of 2019, Noe Funeral Service is the only fully family owned and managed funeral home in Carteret County. Like most local “mom and pop” businesses, we started small and continue to grow thanks to the community embracing us. My staff and I are dedicated to offering the highest quality funeral services at an affordable cost and above all else, follow the motto “Here to Serve”.

Noe Funeral Service, Inc is a fully licensed funeral home through the NC Board of Funeral Service. We own our funeral home and lease our chapel which is located across the street at 100 Lockhart Dr. Operating under this model is how we are able to offer more affordable services. We provide all funeral services and offer a full line of funeral merchandise such as caskets, urns, grave markers and custom items such as casket cap panels and printed service items. If you are not from this area, we have a great deal of experience with shipping decedents across the country and world. We are well versed and experienced in handling Veteran affairs as well.

Thank You for considering Noe Funeral Service. Please contact us with questions you may have.
