Recently, my husband and I, took a trip out to Phoenix, AZ.

This area of the country is so incredibly grounding for me. No ear buds, no noise, no large crowds out on the trails.

Just time with God, my higher power, and mother nature. I find it hard to return home after sitting on the summit of a mountain feeling so small in all of the Divine's creation.

This past Saturday I had the honor of being the keynote speaker at Wesley Methodist Church Women's Retreat in Beaumont, TX.

The theme of the retreat was Angels Among Us.

My favorite subject to talk about! I felt so blessed to talk about my personal experiences with Archangel Michael, Gabriel and Raphael and to teach others how they can hear, feel and see the angels too.

History is another favorite topic of mine too. I gave a brief history lesson on angels and how the Christian faith and Bible makes references to them on every turn of the page.

God created them to be His messengers and help guide humanity.

I also lead small groups in prayer and meditation time in the beautiful chapel. Archangel Raphael definitely made his presence know. A lot of personal healing was happening!!!

For so long, I waited for life to become beautiful. I waited for others to like me. I waited for others to see me. I waited for others to hear and acknowledge me.

Then I realized one day everyone I was waiting for lived their life for themselves. I also realized that those individuals needed me to make them feel good, not for them to have a mutual loving relationship that went both ways.

A few years ago, I picked up a brush and started to put color into my life. The Divine brought new people into my life that wanted to add color to their life , as well as my life.

I have no regrets, or animosity, towards those individuals who used my lack of self confidence to make themselves feel better. I realize they too struggle with a lack of self confidence. We were actually exactly alike but on different spots on our journeys.

However, after learning Reiki and practicing it for several years now, I am on a WAAAY DIFFERENT spot on our life journeys than they are. I am now considered "the different one" or "you changed"--- the outlier.

I'm grateful for becoming the Outlier and all the lessons they have taught me, but I feel so blessed to have taken control of my own paint brush. Life is so much more colorful now!
