Pap tests screen for changes in cervical cells that could indicate infection, HPV, or other conditions. An abnormal result doesn’t always mean cancer, but it does require follow-up.

Key Points:

• Causes may include HPV infection or cellular changes
• Risk factors: multiple sexual partners, early sexual activity, smoking, weakened immune system
• Often there are no symptoms—regular screenings are vital
• Follow-up may include repeat Pap, HPV testing, or colposcopy

Don’t wait—early detection saves lives. Schedule your Pap test today! 409-899-1499
