Lets start off with the RED FLAGS shall we! AVOID 4 WEEK PHLEBOTOMY/IV THERAPY AND 8 WEEK PHARMACY TECHNICIAN COURSES!!! PHLEBOTOMY courses are usually 8+ weeks long by itself, add IV THERAPY to it the average length of couses combined becomes a 10-12 week program! Now lets discuss the elephant in this topic. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION COURSES ARE TYPICALLY 16-24 WEEKS LONG because of the complexity of the 9 common subjest matters. The PTCB/ExCPT CERTIFICATION EXAMS are very tedious to pass if under prepared!!! I'm informing you that 4 week Phlebotomy/IV Therapy and 8 week Pharmacy Tech courses are a waste of time and money!!! If the institution doesn’t have a FACEBOOK BUSINESS page and only a Facebook personal page for their business is not a good practice to start. If a Phlebotomy or Pharmacy Tech training institution doesn’t have real reviews from real participants who took courses from the institution could be a major RED FLAG!!! A Real Review is when a participant writes about their experience while they attended the institution in their own words! If you read a review and it says RECOMMEND with no real words written most likely that participant had nothing real or good to say about that institution. Social Media REVIEWS are very important when deciding on a learning institution in the Golden Triangle, however; FOLLOWERS & LIKES are mostly irreverent. When researching a learning institution on Facebook make sure the REVIEW button is in clear site to select, if the REVIEW button is not clearly visible and hidden it’s for a reason!
