Meet JR!

Before joining Broussard's in 2016, JR had the privilege of working with some of the industry’s premier firms across the country, from the Baltimore/Washington D.C. Metropolitan corridor, to Houston and San Antonio.

JR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology from Towson University in Maryland as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science from Briarwood College in Connecticut.

He is a member of the Academy of Funeral Service Practice and a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Haven. In his personal time, he enjoys maintaining personal fitness, traveling, and reading.

Meet Blue, our Chief Service Officer!

A graduate of Hamshire-Fannett High School, Blue went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Sam Houston State University.

After joining Broussard's in 2005, he graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service-Houston in 2006. He is part of the 5th generation of the Broussard family to join the family business, and he serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors.

Blue is a past president of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, a past president of the Southeast Texas Funeral Directors Association, a past Some Other Place board member, and he currently serves as a board member for the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Membership Committee.
