Special Edition S*Kcross 26’ is headed to The Dirt, May 30th for a single day, Nitro Buggy event only!
The event will be capped at 128 entries which is 2 full
Heats (32) per class! Drivers are limited to 1 entry!
This will allow us for fun, quick program that ensures a practice/Seeding run, Heat Race, LCQ and Double A Mains for all!

The man Daniel Adams will be running the program for us!

Special thanks to Joey for letting us come play at his facility!
The track will be S*K, plenty of room to work some magic and include the starting gates for a unique event!

Special thanks to all our sponsors from previous years! I didn’t ask for anything from them on this event due to the late scheduling and just wanting to put on something fun for the racers this year and most companies are already offering up some awesome prizes to give away at the event!
It’s awesome to work with such great companies in the industry for the last 20+ years!

I will work on getting the website updated with the latest info and entries will open 4/17 @ 5pm Cali time! Paid entries required to enter the event, no refunds unless approved by me for any unforeseen circumstances. (Stuff happens, I know)!
I will clear any unpaid signups to make sure there’s room for the people actually committed to coming!

Attention West Coast 1/8 scale off-road racers 👀

If you are looking for a great race with an unreal layout at a World Class racing facility, check out the Factory Tracks King of Supercross at Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico, Cali October 4-5. Anthony Westergaard is putting in a sick track layout and ProTek RC Team Cayote USA pros Ryan Maifield and Spencer Heckert highlight a field of many fast racers coming in for this one.

S*Kcross 25’ was a success I’d like to say!
Thank you to The Drakes, Adam Drake and Ronda Drake for letting us come use the track for this event, it’s nice to have Thunder Alley feel like home again for sure! Lot of good memories for both my dad and I, now Austin as well! He had such a blast, he got Monday off school! LOL

Can’t thank Lance MacDonald and Elite RC Productions enough for the amazing event coverage and announcing all weekend, I’m sure there were times Lance was over the difficult format but he made it happen and I appreciate his help bringing this event back!
We will work on getting the scoring to do things easier for next time!

Thanks to Rob Jackson for all the help getting the starting gates made, painting the infield Thursday night, watering and everything else over the weekend!

Mike Garrison and BOOM Rc for all the help with flyers, banners, shirts, awards, stickers.. Everything looked awesome and even more in store for 2026 if he wasn’t s*k of me after this!

This event wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing sponsors, Tekno RC provided car kits to the winners of the Sportsman classes, built by Nick Wautlet and Wallie Builds! The Drake Racing provided engines for both second place finishers in the Sportsman Nitro classes. Tyler Brown and Jenn from J&T Bearing Company donated servos and a ton of ProMotion prizes for the raffle! AMain Hobbies with some awesome Cayote products and Protek servos!
Mac Mitchell from Maxline donated wheel nuts to all racers and more product for raffle! Jason Snyder and Rawspeed hooked us up with a ton of prizes. Jason Ruona and Jconcepts again hooked up the raffle giveaways! Hobbywing North America donated an ESC and programmer! Nick Hernandez from Tzo Tires kicked in more prizes! Team Associated gave away a car kit! Chasen Ehrlich and Racecraft USA threw in some coozies and FLOCKFOILS!

Last but not least, thank you to all the racers who attended this event and made it worth having! Seeing old and new faces after 8 years away was exciting and I hope everyone remembers or now knows, S*k layouts aren’t for the weak! I heard mostly great things all weekend long, everyone having a blast! Ton of prizes given away! Insane amount of track time! There are some things we will adjust and improve for next year! If you have constructive critism, feel free to message me direct! Would love to hear your opinion if I haven’t read about it already!

If you didn’t attend, maybe you’ll want to next year! There are some big ideas in the works already and we will see what happens from it all! We will be back for sure!

Pretty cool to have the legend Paul Thacker at S*kcross 25’! The man is a class act and put in a standout performance in the sportsman classes! If you don’t know his background, here’s a cool video of his story! Hope to see more of him in the future at S*kcross events!

Today’s podiums from both Nitro and Electric buggy classes! There were a ton of awesome races down to the wire, last lap passes!

Elite RC Productions ran an awesome program and provided great coverage for all to see!
Follow along the rest of the evening for Nitro truck practice and we will have the same format tomorrow, quals/LCQ and triple A mains all from the gates!!!
