Good morning! Due to issues on I-10 several of our staff members are stuck in traffic. Clinic will be open as usual but our first appointments might be slightly delayed as the providers fight to arrive. Thank you for your patience and please be safe on the congested roads!

Lately in clinic we have been discussing with parents the importance of good quality sleep by decreasing personalized screen time as much as possible, but at least 2 hours before bed time, paired with a good sleep ritual. We wanted to share a recent post from one of the nations leading medical journals that highlights the need for changes in how we (in the articles case, adolescents) use digital media, and how we sleep.

Help us wish a Happy Birthday to the one that normally makes the birthday posts. I have been tagged in so that she doesn’t have to make her own. 🙄
Our clinic is so lucky to have someone that goes to bat for the employees and the patients like she does. We are thankful that she’s made it another year around the sun with us here at KidMed!

The building complex has sectioned off 6 spots of our parking lot this morning, so if you have an appointment today (2/19/2026) or tomorrow, it is probably a good idea to arrive a few minutes early to allow for time to find a parking spot. At our clinic, the safety and health of your children always come first.

We want to let our families know that we will continue to follow the childhood vaccine schedule that has historically and currently been recommended by leading pediatric experts. This schedule is based on decades of the largest and most reliable medical research available, and it is designed to protect children at the ages when they are most vulnerable.

While there have been recent changes and discussions at the federal level, our clinic will not be changing its vaccine policy. Our decisions are guided by evidence, clinical experience, and a deep commitment to preventing serious, sometimes life-threatening illnesses in children.

Vaccines remain one of the most important tools we have to keep kids healthy, protect our community, and give children the best possible start in life. We believe strongly in partnering with parents, answering questions honestly, and helping families make informed decisions grounded in science and safety.

Happy New Year!

KidMed will be closed this afternoon of 12/31/25, New Years, and 1/2/26, in observance of the New Year Holiday. We will open for regularly scheduled hours on Monday, 1/5/26. Everyone have a wonderful new year and be safe!
