🎉 Success Story Spotlight: Mr. Jimmy Dinscore 🎉

We’re proud to share the incredible rehab journey of Mr. Jimmy Dinscore, a 56-year-old gentleman who was hospitalized following a right posterior cerebral artery (PCA) stroke. After receiving intensive care and stabilization in the ICU, Mr. Dinscore chose PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont for his post-stroke recovery.

Through dedication, determination, and the support of our skilled Physical, Occupational and SLP Therapy teams, Mr. Dinscore made remarkable progress in his rehabilitation. His hard work led to significant improvements in motor control, coordination, strength, mobility, cognitive retraining and activities of daily living (ADLs). 💪

Today, we celebrate his outstanding accomplishments and perseverance throughout his stay with us. Mr. Dinscore will continue his recovery journey with PAM Health Beaumont’s Outpatient Therapy Program, where we know he’ll keep reaching new milestones! Brent, a Nederland, Texas native, graduated with honors in 2020 and brings over five years of diverse experience as a Nurse Practitioner. He currently serves patients at Mid-County Medical Group, where his compassion, expertise, and commitment make a lasting difference every day.

These unsung heroes – be they adult children caring for aging or ill parents, parents caring for disabled children, or spouses caring for sick or disabled partners – take on the immense responsibility of caring for loved ones who can no longer care for themselves, often with increased medical needs.

Our approach to physical rehabilitation ensures that family caregivers are equipped and confident to provide safe support to their loved ones once they return home from a hospital stay with us. Plus, once patients are back in the community, PAM Health’s monthly support groups can be a resource not just for them but also for family members and caregivers.

"This was my second stay at PAM. Didn't think possible but this journey was even more productive than the other. Everyone..each and every individual on the staff that I crossed paths with were extremely engaging. I was running pretty low on 'gas' when I arrived. Upon leaving..felt like I just 'filled the tank. My back pain is almost manageable now. My time with the physical therapists (which I so looked forward to) proved to be the highlight of each day. And the food was quite good too..I never eat three full meals a day like I did. The food was just such an enjoyable part of my stay. Please pass this on to all those good folks responsible. Regarding the physical therapy, each and Every therapist was quite 'tuned in" to my physical needs. Actually some of them could have worked me a little harder. I think what was quite impressive..yes, each one was very skilled at their chosen trade and each one delivered their chosen profession..with a Smile. Thank you so very much. ⁶"
