Katy is the Recreation Manager at the Watermark and she will be telling us about all of the classes, services, and events offered at the Watermark, available to all of us! I'm excited for Cabin Fever Fest tomorrow at the Watermark! I will have a booth alongside many other vendors starting at 9:00 am. Anyone who might be interested in biofeedback and how it can help you manage your chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia with less reliance on medications - I will be there to answer any questions you may have and if it might be right for you. Biofeedback therapy is also very effective for improving urinary incontinence. Stop for a brochure, smiling face and answers to your questions!

Topic this month will be tips and strategies to not only survive all of the "extra" of the holidays while living with chronic pain and illness, but also to enjoy yourself! Chronic Pain Support Group is meeting this week, Wed., October 1st @ 1:00 pm at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop. We are excited to welcome as guest speaker, Susan Retzlaff of Fit4You in Mayville. Susan is a personal trainer and will be presenting on the benefits of strengthening as one way to manage chronic pain. She will be bringing bands and weights to try some exercises with her! I want to shout out a big "thank you!" to Tracie Nichols of Basalt Wellness, Salt Room and Day Spa! She was our guest speaker at Chronic Pain Support Group at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop last week. We learned about the MANY services offered at her spa that can help relieve chronic pain and to add to health, wellness, and self-care. Can't wait to visit the spa and book one of the many exciting services offered!
