Today was full of hands-on fun and learning! 👩‍🍳🧪

Our group at TAC rolled up their sleeves for a group cooking activity, building teamwork skills while creating something delicious together. From measuring ingredients to mixing and tasting, everyone played an important role! As a bonus, we all got to eat Sloppy Joe's and sides at the end!😋

We also got a little science-y with a colorful M&M experiment 🍬✨ Watching the colors spread and mix was not only exciting, but a great way to explore cause and effect, patience, and curiosity. And to experiment with cold water vs hot water. 💧

Moments like these help build independence, confidence, and curiousity and joy in learning. We love seeing everyone engaged, smiling, and proud of what they accomplish each day! 💜🧡💛

What an amazing start to a new week at TAC!💜🧡💛 We traveled to Bowling Green to the Hardin Planetarium where we learned all about the stars and planets.🪐

Then we enjoyed a meal together at Mellow Mushroom. 🍕 It was the perfect Monday!

We have several outings and guests coming in. We're focusing on celebrating our strengths and abilities, and learning to grow food and create beautiful art.

🌸🐰 Easter Fun at TAC! 🐣🌷

Our participants and our staff had an egg-cellent time celebrating Easter today! Our participants enjoyed a day full of smiles, laughter, and festive fun.

We played soooo many games, decorated cupcakes, hunted eggs, flew kites, and more and it was an amazing and fun celebration for everyone involved.

Days like these remind us how important it is to create opportunities for connection, fun, friendship, and happiness. 💜🧡💛

Thank you to our amazing volunteers and participants for making today so special! And thank you to Wendy King for bringing kites to fly outside!

Calling all TAC participants, and their parents and caregivers...our Easter Party is tomorrow!🐣🌸

Please remember to bring lunch, but there's no need to bring food for snack. And if you have them, show off those Easter shirts, bunny ears, or any other Easter fun wear!🐰

We were treated today TWICE at TAC!💜

Roscoe Moore came and volunteered his time and skill to give several of our male participants haircuts. They loved the outcome, and chatting and cutting up with him. We are so thankful for him!✂️

Then we were treated to delicious pizza from The Pizza Place by Morgantown Bank and Trust.🍕

We are so thankful for our community and all of the love and support they show our participants.💜🧡💛
